Happy Birthday Roky Erickson

Hi, How are you. For lack of anything better to do in this blistering heat we've decided to join the rest of the world -- hiding out in the dark, cold coffee in hand, blinking into the void -- with only the twinkling light of the monitor to guide us. Yes, folks, it's true: we here down in the darkest, dungeon-like sweatshops of Liquid Overhead have started a BLOG, to feature new work done by Overhead, as well as the artists we love to work with. Happily enough, we get to start off with our newest work -- a new print for the incomparable Roky Erickson. We were thrilled to commemorate with a new poster by Jaime Cervantes, pictured above. More from the Roky collection, from the recent Ice Cream Social, as well as the 2009 West Coast NIGHT OF THE VAMPIRE tour appear both above and below.

And in the meantime, stay cool, stay strong,
and Peace & Love & Happy Birthdays all around--

Love,
Liquid Overhead.

Congrats to the SECRETARY.

Never underestimate the office staff. When not busy typing, filing, or cheerfully pouring coffee, our humble office assistant has been up to nefarious activities which have resulted in this: Heidi-Annette Hall's latest screenplay SPREAD THE ALARM has now made it to the semi-finals of Gordy Hoffman's Bluecat Screenplay competition, being in the top 18 out of nearly 4000 entries...ALARM has also made it to top 13 with the Austin Film Festival (lucky number), and is currently under consideration for Sundance's 2010 Screenwriter's Lab. ALARM is currently represented by Indie producer Tommy Pallotta. Who knew?
