Austin Monthly's COOL ISSUE -- Brand New ETSY STORE.

We here at Liquid Overhead were always waaay too busy listening to records in a dark room all by ourselves or doodling in our notebooks drawing the same star-trek pictures over and over again to worry about who was sitting at the cool or uncool lunch table. But then here comes AUSTIN MONTHLY with the new December 2009 Issue, the 'Cool Issue' and lo and behold, our own Jaime Cervantes is featured inside. Who knew?

We like to let the work of Mr. Cervantes speak for itself, BUT, if you want to check out more of the story on Jaime and the other four talented Austin Poster Artists featured in the article set that tasty michelada down & run to the newstand already.

TRANS PECOS FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND LOVE, 2009

Calling all righteous, bearded dudes and scantily clad hippie chicks, or vice-versa. As our newest poster attests, it's El Cosmico's Music Fest time again in the bad, beautiful lands of Far West Texas, so head out west to Marfa T.X., collapse yourself around a muscular, sweat-drenched, snow-white steed, or just pull up a lawn chair while stars shoot through the outer reaches, sip that first michelada, & enjoy the amazing space and musical performances that are Liz Lambert's TRANS PECOS FEST OF MUSIC AND LOVE. October 9th and 10th. They bring the music -- you bring the scantily-clad enthusiasm.

Resonating Pop at Satch Grimley's Art Opening

Come see the exciting new batch of work from our pal Satch Grimley -- the exceedingly talented print-maker, painter, and all around artist, at Gay Fay Kelly Gallery, at 1811 West 8th Street in beautiful, sunny Austin, Texas. Free posters celebrating the show (designed by friend J. Cervantes, printed by Jaime and Satch) as well as food and drink will be available; come one, come all to catch the new work and vibe, aptly titled 'Pop Resonance.'
